Stella Shin, LAc., DAc., Dipl. OM (NCCAOM/NCBAHM), is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and Tui Na (Chinese massage) practitioner dedicated to supporting patients through a holistic and individualized approach to care.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Washington and completed her Master of Acupuncture with Chinese Herbal Medicine specialization as well as Doctorate of Acupuncture from Bastyr University.
Her background bridges modern biomedical science with traditional East Asian medicine, allowing her to approach health from both a clinical and holistic perspective.
Stella has trained in a range of clinical settings, including Harborview Medical Center, Providence Regional Medical Center, and private practice environments.
She focuses on pain management, women’s health and fertility, stress, sleep disturbances, and digestive issues. Her treatments are guided by attentive listening and a commitment to creating individualized care plans that address both the root cause and the symptoms.
With prior experience in clinical research at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Stella brings a detail-oriented and thoughtful approach to patient care.
Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys cooking, baking, dancing, and traveling, and believes strongly in food as a form of nourishment and medicine. She is fluent in both English and Korean and strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all patients.
