Dr. Lynn von Schneidau
Dr. Lynn von Schneidau is a Naturopathic Physician and primary care physician specializing in women's and children's health. Dr. Lynn began her undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa, earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received her Doctorate at Bastyr University. She has worked with pediatric cancer patients at university hospitals in Iowa City and as a cancer patient advocate for the Gerson Institute. She has also spoken at numerous events on the topic of women's health and wellness. Dr. Lynn moved her practice to Glow Natural Health three years ago from a successful women's clinic south of Tacoma to be closer to home in raising her three children.
Dr. Lynn's approach to health care is holistic and comprehensive. Her purpose as a physician is to educate and empower her patients to take control of their health. In a partnership, she and her patients work together not only to alleviate symptoms, but to discover the cause of the patients illness.
Her approach not only encompasses the physical symptoms but works on emotional, mental and spiritual levels. She has had great success in discovering the mind, body connection and its effect on producing physical symptoms.
Dr. Lynn treats each person as an individual with a unique past and not as having a disease. Her belief is that pain and disease processes are the result of the bodies inherent wisdom to reveal lessons about our past or present beliefs and habits.
